This 110 CPU(612 000)is like a small brain on the jobsite.While not the”center of the entire plant”like a large DCS,it is very stable in lightweight control systems.
If the on-site program complexity is not high,the CPU is sufficient.If the program volume is large or the I/O requirements are high,consider upgrading to a higher-end model in the Micro 110 series or a Modicon 140/150 series.
It is recommended that critical equipment have an extra CPU module to enable quick replacement in the event of a failure,thus avoiding downtime.
