II.Key Features

Communication Protocol Support:

Supports multiple communication protocols,including IEC 61850 Edition 2,process buses based on IEC 61850-9-2 LE,IEC 60870-5-103,and Modbus®.

Profibus DVP1 communication is supported via the SPA-ZC 302 protocol converter.Protection Functions:

Differential protection includes proportional braking and differential current speed stages,providing fast and selectable protection for phase-to-phase,inter-turn,and bushing faults.

Sensitive restricted ground fault protection detects single-phase ground faults in transformer neutral-grounded systems.

The device provides thermal overload protection,monitoring thermal stress in the transformer windings to prevent insulation degradation.

Multiple stages for short-circuit,overcurrent,negative-sequence,and backup ground fault protection are available for both high-and low-voltage windings.

Depending on the selected standard configuration,the device also provides three-phase overvoltage protection,three-phase undervoltage protection,and zero-sequence overvoltage protection.

Circuit breaker failure protection is also provided.

Optional Functions:

By configuring the appropriate hardware and software,three arc protection detection channels can be added to provide arc protection for the cable compartment,busbar compartment,and circuit breaker compartment of indoor metal-clad switchgear.An optional binary input/output module includes three high-speed binary outputs,further reducing overall operating time by 4-6ms compared to standard binary outputs.

Configuration Flexibility:

The RET615E offers five standard configurations.Standard signal configurations can be modified using the signal matrix or graphical application configuration function in the protection and control device management tool PCM600.

The application configuration function in PCM600 supports the creation of multi-layer logic.Protection functions can be combined with logic modules using a variety of logic elements,including timers and triggers,to meet diverse user application requirements.

Visual Operation Interface:

A large LCD display with editable single-line diagrams is accessible via an easy-to-use HMI,either locally or via a web browser.
