5.Other features
Each TMR digital input module has three groups of isolated electronic devices(called channels)that independently process the module’s field data and transmit the data group to the MP associated with the channel upon request.The MPs vote on the data before passing it to the application.
If the diagnostic program detects a fault on any channel,the fault indicator lights up and activates the system alarm.Fault indicators identify channel faults,not entire module faults.
DI modules are guaranteed to operate properly in the presence of a single fault and continue to operate properly in the presence of multiple faults.
Hot standby modules are supported.
Each DI module is mechanically keyed to prevent improper installation in a configured base.
Model 3301 DI modules can be used with Model 2301 bases(for typical applications),or with solid-state relay input external terminal panels for pressure applications,or with Model 9573-610 DI hazardous location external terminal panels.
